Demi Chef De Partie – The Six Weligama / Asaya Sands Mirissa
Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the preparation and cooking of high-quality dishes according to hotel standards.
  • Ensure food is prepared in a timely manner while maintaining presentation and taste.
  • Support the Chef De Partie in kitchen operations and workflow management.
  • Monitor stock levels and assist in ingredient ordering and inventory control.
  • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen, following food safety regulations.
  • Train and guide junior kitchen staff as needed.

Prerequisites:

  • 3+ years of experience in a professional kitchen, with at least 1 year in a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of cooking techniques, food presentation, and kitchen operations.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Attention to detail and a passion for culinary excellence.
  • Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards.
