Trainee Cook – The Six Weligama / Asaya Sands Mirissa
Responsibilities:

  • Assist chefs in basic food preparation and cooking.
  • Learn and follow standard recipes and kitchen procedures.
  • Ensure ingredients are properly cleaned, measured, and stored.
  • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen area.
  • Support kitchen operations by organizing workstations and assisting with inventory.
  • Always follow food safety and hygiene regulations.

Prerequisites:

  • No prior experience required a passion for cooking is essential.
  • Basic knowledge of kitchen operations and food handling is an advantage.
  • Willingness to learn and take guidance from senior chefs.
  • Strong teamwork and time management skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
